POZ AIDS Walk New York 2008 Party

Actors from both ABC and CBS daytime dramas came together at "Love Out Loud," the POZ  fund-raiser for AIDS Walk New York at Prohibition, on Columbus Ave at 84th Street. All My Children cast members Alicia Minshew and Thorsten Kaye (Kendall and Zach) were joined by Amanda Baker, Melissa Claire Egan and Billy Miller; One Life to Live's "Roxy," Ilene Kristen brought her co-workers along: Kristen Alderson, Justis Bolding, BethAnn Bonner, Brandon Buddy, Thom Christopher, Mark Dobies, John-Paul Lavoisier, Kamar de los Reyes, Jason Tam, John Brotherton and Farrah Fath. As the World Turns' "Luke," Van Hansis, was in the company of other talented actors from that show, including Trent Dawson, Billy Magnussen, Wolé Parks and Jon Prescott. Marj Dusay of Guiding Light addressed the crowd about her real life experience and her son's death from AIDS. Good friend, actor and Optimum spokesman Matt Walton was on hand to enjoy the musical entertainment from Ilene, Ken Lundie, Barbara Porteus and John Kouri's Tremors. It was a time to celebrate the victories of the past as well as raise awareness about where we are going in the battle against HIV and AIDS.
