Jane Fehlow Beddoe has been named executive director of the North Virginia AIDS Ministry (NOVAM).
Beddoe has served NOVAM as interim executive director since October 2011, and before that as director of client services since 2005. Her previous experience encompasses a number of leadership roles in public and nonprofit social services in the Washington, DC, area, including serving as program manager in educational programs and professional services for The Women's Center.
NOVAM is an independent nonprofit organization that provides youth with prevention information on HIV, sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy. It also offers testing, mentoring, case management and other services to people living with HIV and their families.
