John Gatto has been named executive director of JRI Health, a division of the Massachusetts-based Justice Resource Institute (JRI), effective August 20.
This is a return to JRI for Gatto, who served as a clinical director for JRI Health from 1994 to 1999. In addition to his JRI experience, Gatto served as executive director for both Cambridge Cares About AIDS (CCAA) and Strongest Link, two HIV/AIDS support organizations in Massachusetts. He recently managed the merger of the two groups along with AIDS Action Committee.
JRI Health provides support services for people with disabilities, including people living with HIV, through a range of programs including housing, legal assistance, professional development and social support.
