Young Female Writers Talk HIV at the Housing Works Bookstore
POZ editor-in-chief Regan Hofmann read aloud a passage from her autobiography, I Have Something to Tell You, on January 14 at the Housing Works Bookstore Café in downtown Manhattan. She was joined by Courtney Sheinmel, author of Positively, a young-adult novel about an HIV-positive girl who lost her mother to AIDS. Fashion designer, former Project Runway contestant and POZ cover boy Jack Mackenroth
introduced the authors to kick off the evening, which also included a question and answer session, discussions and book signings.
