POZ AIDS Walk Los Angeles 2009 Party

POZ's third annual fund-raiser for AIDS Walk Los Angeles, Love Out Loud, took place Thursday October 15, 2009 at H.Wood in the Hollywood Highland Complex.

There were some old friends and some new in attendance. Good friend, David Moretti of The Lair brought a surprise in the person of multi-talented performer, Jai Rodriguez. Thom Bierdz of The Young and the Restless arrived in the company of Joe Argazzi of Agape International Spiritual Center. As always One Life to Live's Foxy Roxy, Ilene Kristen was there to greet her loyal fans. She has been part of every POZ event since Love Out Loud was initiated in 2006.Sherri Lewis wowed the crowd with her rendition of "Where the Boys Are" after imparting words of wisdom regarding the struggle against HIV/AIDS.  Singer John Pagano delivered a sterling performance that rendered the talkative crowd silent.

Here is the list of all the actors who lent their name and presence to our annual fete.

  • Ilene Kristen (One Life to Live)
  • Sherri Lewis (Divas Simply Singing)
  • Taylor Spreitler (Days of Our Lives)
  • Amanda Baker (All My Children)
  • Lexi Ainsworth (General Hospital)
  • Nadia Bjorlin (Days of Our Lives)
  • Patrika Darbo (Days of Our Lives and Charlie Wilson's War)

  • Carrie Southworth (General Hospital: Nightshift)
  • Brandon Barash (General Hospital)

The gracious support of these wonderful people to help those with HIV/AIDS and its awareness help make POZ events get brighter every year.  It's grand when the beautiful people do something beautiful.
