Michael Schreiber

Michael Schreiber, former President & CEO of United eWay and President of Truist, has been named Senior Vice President of Member Relations and Chief Development Officer at the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GBC), New York.

Schreiber's position at GBC will focus on developing innovations to speed progress and support performance improvements in corporate disease-fighting.  His charge includes attracting more companies to the fight, and defining cross-sector collaboration and partnership opportunities.  Schreiber will also lead outreach to foundations and individuals who want to advance the Coalition’s emergence as a hub of collaboration and collective action.

"Growing the Coalition and expanding our ability to significantly increase the scale and impact of our collective action programs is central to GBC's strategy for making a difference in global health in 2010 and beyond," said John Tedstrom, GBC President and CEO.  "Michael brings a broad mix of skills, a track record of outstanding accomplishment, an extensive network in the corporate sector and an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit that will help us achieve these goals. I look forward to working closely with him to take GBC to new heights."
