Paul D. Vitale has been appointed as president and CEO of HELP/PSI, a New York-based agency providing a unique 66-bed residential health care and treatment facility that addresses the needs of people with HIV/AIDS and substance abuse issues.
“Paul Vitale brings to our organization more than 25 years of leadership experience, with particular focus on business and program development in community-based healthcare services, including home care, long term care and primary care,” said PSI board chair David S. Ivill in a statement.
Vitale was executive director for business development of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. He previously was operations officer for Weight Watchers International. His health care administration career also includes positions at the Peninsula Hospital Center, the Long Island Jewish Hillside Medical Center and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center.
