Grand Opening of World Health Clinicians Headquarters in Connecticut

World Health Clinicians celebrated the grand opening of its new and innovative 11,400-square-foot headquarters in Norwalk, Connecticut, on June 15 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new facility will serve about 1,200 people and specialize in comprehensive care to people living with HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The facility will also support the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

The nonprofit’s new headquarters is modeled after the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Community Center, which provides multiple services to the LGBT community as well as people with HIV. The facility will house Circle Care Center, the Mid-Fairfield County AIDS Project and the Triangle Community Center.

The Mid-Fairfield County AIDS Project will provide a comprehensive set of services for HIV-positive people, while the Triangle Community Center will provide a variety of services for the LGBT community, including various support groups.
